CLAIRVOYANT & MEDIUM READINGS

Daisey Crossman

As a child I was aware of the spirit world from a very young age, approx 4-5 years.  I would often see those who had passed on and other souls in the physical form wandering about going about their day to day chores.

I thought this was normal and that everyone could do this, it was not until I started primary school that i realises other children did not see spirit like i did.  As well as seeing them I could sense them, pick up on their emotions and hear them.

I was guided by my great grandmother, nan and mum from an early age not to be scared of spirit and how i could communicate with them.

When I started at secondary school I learnt to keep quiet about my gift and visions as I would of been bullied for it.  In those years it was not a very commonly spoken about subject.

However I met a mutual friend whose mum was a psychic medium and who worked at spiritualist churches.  So when i was 15 i joined Braintree spiritualist church and was mentored by my friends Mum June Brown. She was a wonderful medium  and great inspiration to me.  she was a well known respected medium in the spiritualist churches and introduced me to various other mediums.  I sat in development circle with her for many years.

I started doing readings for people from 16years old.  I then became the medium secretary for a short time at the local spiritualist church.  Since starting to do readings I have done various things with my gift from working platform at Stansted Hall and qualifying as a Parasychologist, Hypnotherapist and a diploma in Mediumship.

Difference Between a Medium and a Clairvoyant?

Clairvoyance is using one’s ability to gain knowledge or information that is beyond normal human perception. It is a form of extra sensory perception.

Mediums rely on the presence of non-physical energy outside of themselves to receive information

PARAPSYCHOLOGY

Term coined in German by Max Dessoir (1889) and adopted by J. B. Rhine in English to refer to the scientific study of paranormal or ostensibly paranormal phenomena, that is, psi; except in Britain, the term has largely superseded the older expression “psychical research;” used by some to refer to the experimental approach to the field. [From the Greek para, “beside, beyond,” + psychology, derived from the Greek psyche, “soul, mind,” + logos “rational discussion”]
